Iran Money | Currency in Iran

The official currency of I. Republic of Iran is Iranian Rials, with 12 types of bancnotes form 10.000 rls to 2.000.000 rls, but in our country we write in Rials and we say the prices in Tumans.

Tumans is "de facto" currency and we just erase one zero from the banconotes, for example: if you have to pay 100.000 rls we say "you have to pay 10.000 Tuman".

We know is difficult to understanding, but with some practice you will learn it.

Don't worry everybody know about this "problem" so the locals the will help you and they will write for you the exactly price in Rials!
